GIVING BACK

Marina Bay Sands creates opportunities for many of our beneficiaries by inviting them to a wide array of activities on property, ranging from educational guided tours to exclusive activities and events. Off property, the integrated resort also extends its support to the community where its efforts are most needed.

The force behind our community outreach efforts comes from over 9,500 passionate Team Members who give time and resources to those in need.  In 2017, almost 1 in 2 Team Members volunteered at multiple activities to support the underprivileged in Singapore.

Inspiring the Future

Sands for Singapore introduced a series of career workshops and interactive, dialogue sessions for underprivileged youth in 2016. The objective was to inspire the youth to overcome their limitations and expose them to the different career options available at an integrated resort. Through a series of tailored workshops, educational tours and thought-provoking conversations with its senior executives, the integrated resort has inspired 400 youth on their career journeys since 2016.

Since its debut in 2015, the In Conversation With series has featured actors Aamir Khan, Adrian Grenier, Dev Patel, Michelle Yeoh, Choi Siwon, Oscar-winning screenwriter Lord Julian Fellowes, singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae; and award-winning filmmakers Darren Aronofsky and Shekhar Kapur. The latest to star in this series was multi-Michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay, who dished out life lessons to youth during an up close and personal dialogue session.
